[Vwdiesel] Still chasing an air leak, only there now when engine is hot

Not having had an ECU controlled engine until last
month's purchase of a F-350 7.3l T.D. 4x4 Crew
... I am pressed to ask a "stupid" question.
Can't such things be set in a VW with Vag-Com
software?
Although I love the simplicity of our older VW
diesel engines I had been lusting for a newer VW
for that kind of reason. Have I been lustfully
operating under a misconception? Has yet another
lady beguiled me with the charm of her duplicitous
veil?
Lurking again ...
... Bill
