[Vwdiesel] 97 TDI Chip and NYS Inspection (fwd)

My 03 gets inspected with a safety inspection ($10 as Terry states).
No ECU read, no ODBII, just tires, wipers, etc.  And an engine inspection 
to make sure it is what it is supposed to be...essentially...a diesel.
