[Vwdiesel] A3 Jetta: IDI or TDI engine?

The 1.9 IDI is a dog.

The 1.9 TDI shares a lot of the basics, but the cylinder head (i.e. direct injection) are infinitely better in every way.

Do yourself a huge favour:  stick with the A3 tdi.
