Hi,

OK. Got my 87 NA to start...but it doesn't like it :-|

- Cold start lever must be all the way in. Will not start at detent 1 or 2.
- Cranking for at least 10 to 15 sec so it will catch then run.
- Throttle at least 1/3 pressed in.

This gives me the idea that it is a fuel problem (IP); The starter or its wiring won't tolerate that for long. No bubbles in the tubing. The dreaded lack of compression is creeping into my morning thoughts. It puffs thick black every revolution until it starts. Then it runs fine. Timing way out?
