My timing tools,

A flat file that fits the cam slot perfectly,

Pump tool, a 3/8" socket ratchet handle that is a perfect fit for the
sprocket hole.

I agree, about the timing belt, it's so cheap (including the tensioner) any
time a head is off, 
Like a wet baby, it should be changed..
