[Vwdiesel] More Dasher?

After writing my message last night I searched my VW parts sources & couldn't find any throttle cables or A/C switches listed. I will check if I can, the A/C switch but it looks like I am out of luck if I have to buy one. I can & will salvage the throttle control cable from my 1980 Dasher parts car but it doesn't have A/C. 
At a swap meet a couple weeks ago, I found a nice set of full VW hubcaps which fit my Dasher so don't have to worry about the small hubcap clips, which apparently are unobtainable, even at a VW junkyard in Sacramento.
