No, mine has the cast iron "regular" gas V-8. The aluminum V-8 was available with the 1961 thru 1963 Olds F-85 which shared the Corvair platform with Buick Special & Pontiac Tempest for those years although all but the Corvair were front engine cars. As I recall that aluminum V-8 was also an option in the Tempest & Buick Special. In 1964, GM dropped the Corvair platform, except for the Corvair, for one shared Chevy Chevelle, Pontiac Tempest, Buick, & Olds F-85. The aluminum V-8 was dropped for the 1964 model year with machine tooling & rights to British Rover who continued to develop that engine which appeared in several British cars including Rover, Land Rover, MG, & some others including the Morgan, as I recall. The Cutlass first became a sub-group of the F-85.  Olds later dropped the F-85 & called them a Cutlass.
