[Vwdiesel] clutch replacement parts and timing tool purchase info

My jetta clutch has failed (actually the disc is fine, parts are floating-maybe pressure plate or bearing failure). Not sure what i have in there as yet.
It is a 91 jetta though it has a 1.9 motor. I usually use autohauz though wondered if yawl have had success with other sources.
Also, i want  to time this motor and and a 1.6 that is going into a cabrio and is currently on a cart receiving a new timing belt, oil cooler, thermostat
and other attention.
So: i would like to purchase a timing tool kit, a bit better than harbor freights quality, or is this one enough!
I am looking for a decent working 1.6 motor and 5speed trans, summer is a great time to travel for one.
