[Vwdiesel] info in VIN? VW Dealer has lost his mind

With the gas engines there are a few types of motors, I don't think so with diesels,Does the vin # contain that info? possibly they needed that to distinguish what kind of motor is in it?

sounds like you need to take your parts request to his boss or the
owner of the dealership. I tend to be a real prick when it comes to
service like that.
