[Vwdiesel] info in VIN? VW Dealer has lost his mind

  I believe it does.  Maybe this guy worked at a MB dealer previously, 
(or wishes he did and is trying to act like it!)  MB has always gone 
by VIN instead of year.  They apparently change things frequently 
during a year's run instead of trying to keep it to the year. <shrug>
