[Vwdiesel] More Quantum questions?

Bill,

If I'm not mistaken, the fuel-water sensor(fuel-water separator is a small
white tank located just in front of the passenger side rear wheel) will cause
that LED to blink as well.

There is a drain pet-cock on this tank which I would always drain a bit when
changing oil. If you (or the PO) haven't worked this valve before, it can be a
real bear and you might just break it.

> My Quantum appears to handle nicely, as nice as my Focus ZX3 & with as much snap too. I think I agree with Brian Decker about running the Dasher & Quantum instead of buying a new Prius or TDI. However buying a new one is out of the question unless I can sell a couple of my collector cars, which do not depreciate. I bought my 2001 Focus ZX3 new for only $11,643 including tax & license, half of the cost of a then new Prius or TDI. With 114,000 miles on it, it is still running dependably & so far, has been the most trouble free car I have ever owned. Only complaint is its gas mileage STINKS! (24 to 28 MPG & an occasional 30 MPG).
