  "The shape of things to come"  I remember those ads!  "Fun" 
thing about the TR7 is the head bolts ar notorious for sticking 
or snapping half way once they're a turn or two out.  To make 
it even more fun, they're in at different angles so snap two 
(not uncommon) and it's hacksaw forever until you cut them off 
below the head THEN work them out.  Can't lift the head off the 
stubs due to the interference angles.  :-P
  Don't think we ever saw the v-8 version.  Like with the MG.
