[Vwdiesel] TDI electrical weirdness--hopefully the end of the matter

That's exactly what I had going on here.  Called the supplier, they said 
it came from a major VW OEM parts supplier.  I'm thinking it must not be 
a major supplier of electrical components.  Maybe they're the ones that 
make the armrests and glove boxes  Good news is they'll refund my money. 


I forgot to thank the list for the responses.  I guess Erik gets the 
cigar for the solution that worked in the end.  I sometimes will 
cross-post a question to TDIclub, but I don't get nearly the kind of 
help I get from this much smaller list.
