Diesels are at a premium in the USA right now. Just type
"nissan diesel" or "toyota diesel" into ebay motors search and
see what prices they're getting (or at least asking) for the low
mile Jap diesels. Last I looked they were from just below $2K to
almost $5K depending on size vintage and turbo. Just for
comparison I got TWO RD28's for $850. The TDi brings more
money than most of the Japanese diesels too, especially if you
get all the needed electricals for a swap.
Tempting to buy a container of low mile diesel engine!
