[Vwdiesel] Really wierd stating problem

  Is a 650CCA battery big enough?  Sounds borderline.  I 
was thinking the group 41 (our Rabbits, etc) was 850 or 
825 and the group 42 (gassers) was 650.
  Otherwise I'd say it sounds like a bad cable or contact 
in the starter solenoid.
  If the rpm was always fine then I'd poke at the typical 
intake runner carbon buildup.
