[Vwdiesel] Really wierd stating problem

	The factory battery was 650 cca and 8xx  850? ca.
	I guess ca is a warm cranking amps.  Putting the 
	battery on the "computerized" load testers at 
	Autozone or Advanced Auto yields a "good" finding.
	I even double cycld the load test one day.

	Did not check out starter motor contactor.  
	

	The intake is clear.  There's visible carbon, but 
	not any thicker than 1/16".

	I'll see if I can pull the starter this weekend, and
	go after the relay/contactor on the starter.

	Does anyone have a cranking amp figure for the starter and motor?
	on a warm engine, I see 225-275 amps nominal.  On a cold
	(20F) engine, I see about 450 A.
