[Vwdiesel] Quantum Questions?

Today, in an effort to find a cooling system leak, I idled the engine for about a half hour with the cap off the coolant expansion tank. No coolant loss. I did put in some stop leak. Will test drive it locally to see if I loose any water. Wonder if it would do any good to re-torque the head? Or does it have those stupid stretch bolts? Are they 11mm or 12 mm?Can I use the 12mm ARC racing studs I used in my Dasher diesel in the Quantum TD? No, I'm not going to remove the studs from the Dasher but would buy another set from Summit Racing Parts.
