imho...
low oil pressure and now piston clanging. Classic, spun main bearing, very
bad news.
If you do an oil analysis, it would show high metal content of bearing
materials, like tin. lead, copper.
You might even be able to see it if you let it get bad enough, it will
show up when you drain the oil like metal a silver metal flake paint when
you stir it.
Eventually it will break a rod, and likely send it though the side of the
block.
A spun bearing means at least machine shop work on the block and crank, but
most people just do a R&R on engine.
