[Vwdiesel] window winder won't

Have you pulled the door panel off yet?  There may be access holes to find the bolts that attach the glass to the regulator.  If not, you can unbolt the regulator and let the assembly including the glass drop down a couple inches and then access the glass bolts.

Some cars had motors that could be separated from the regulator and some don't.  If the regulator has a couple of arms that attach to a long bar that attaches to the glass with a large gear the motor turns, you can guy the motor separate.  If the glass appears to glide along a middle piece, then it is a cable type and the motor isn't really separate from the regulator.  

I have no idea which type was used on a '94 Jetta.
