[Vwdiesel] More Dasher ?

[oops posted to the boss by mistake :o)]
If the setup [dimensions ]are the same as the Quantum TD then it will come
out... without engine mounting bracket removal [I think I took the rear
starter bracket off though].
It's not easy though because it's bigger than the gasser one. Just as you
think it won't come off it does. Going back on took a while... again it is
enough to make a saint swear... then it just pops on. I may have got it to
ride on a screwdriver as a 'podger' going back in.
However it was so hard to do that although it was not much more than a month
ago that I did it I've blanked it out in my mind how I did it ;o)...  Shame
really because it was only a 5 minute job... attached to the rear end of 1/2
hr of getting nowhere... Didn't like the look of all the turbo associated
stuff getting in the way of the bracket removal...
