[Vwdiesel] Voltage Stabilizer

It's meant to regulate the voltage for the instrument cluster to about 
10volts IIRC Get a multimeter and with engine running measure from each 
terminal to an earth to see if one leg remains fixed [ish] It's to stop the 
fuel tank gauge for example varying from half full to full etc. Not sure 
which leg is which. Let me try a pic I have ...

There's the 'ugger on the RHS  top or bottom terminal perhaps?? :o)
