[Vwdiesel] Motometer Speedometer

I picked up a NOS Motometer Speedometer today.  It's exactly the same as the
VDO Speedometer in my 84 Jetta TD except the receptacles for some of the
pins on the Oil Pressure warning Circuit Board don't line up and are
different so I can't use the one from the VDO Gauge.  The new one didn't
come with the Circuit Board.
 
My question is, does anyone know what will happen if I omit this Circuit
Board and just install the Motometer Speedo.  I have a good Electric VDO OP
Gauge so I don't need the warning system.  I just don't want to go thru all
the hassle of taking apart my Dash and replacing the Speedo again and end up
having issues with the obnoxious Buzzer.
 
This MM Speedometer has exactly the same face (1540) and mounting as the
original VDO Gauge.  This will be my fourth Speedometer trying to get one
that is close to accurate and a brand new one may do it.  I hope!
