Thanks Mark for the link, great artical.  I remember reading an artical similar to this in 2003 on the A4 TDI.
I am confussed, this is the second time I have seen this VERY low MPG stats, are they talking about the TDI or Gas I wonder.

Humm, these cars get solid 46-50 all the time, all day long?  Not sure what that is all about.

Wow, with the $1,300 Alt. fuel credit, which must be geared towards Bio Diesel, yes?  I want one of these new ones in maybe 2 years.
But, that means I may have to part with some other car unless the wife will sell her gasser Vibe, which gets 34-35, not bad for a jap car wrapped by some Pontiac deal.  It is a Toyota.
