  Now just who is your "they"??  If you're saying it's the oil companies 
then why are they so evil for finally making more than a penny a gallon 
while very few complain about the government (you did a little) who 
gets at least $.50/gallon!  The oil complanies don't get that crude 
oil price, the supplier/producer does.  Most of those are middle east 
wealthy.  Some are domestic big whigs and some are just individuals 
that got in right or lucky.  Sure, some of the wells are company owned 
but they don't seem to have the control over the price that OPEC does.
  I'm glad domestic oil is making a profit and I don't object to it being a 
few cents/gallon.  I do heavily object when people start spouting that 
the government needs to tax the price of gas until it matches the res 
of the world's retail prices though.  They try and do the same to our 
local, inexpensive, hydroelectric power.  :-P  It's the ONE advantage 
this corner of the country has!
