I did a whole rash of doors for a while and got pretty good at it!
There are a few adjustments and most don't happen at the hinges.
The hinges will move the door forward and rearward (closed position.)
If the front of the door is inward or (can't remember the adjustment
it makes at the rear) but you put about an 11/16 socket between the
body and the door at the hinge and it... AHH! I think that pulls the
door gap forward. Sorry, it's late and it was a few years ago!
If the door is simply low and usually toward the rear, get two
pieces of 2x4. One about a foot or less long and another about
4' long. Put the short one on the bottom of the door, have the door
open just several inches, and put the second 2x on the sill. Hold it
up against the short 2x that you're holding to the bottom of the door
and make sure it's resting flat and not on the door skin. Pry the door
up. It'll spring back about 1/4". A few minutes first adjusting the
hinges, then the height and then tweaking the hinges with a socket,
and finally adjusting the post if needed can really do wonders. :-)
If the back end of the door is off top to bottom but the front is
good, roll the window down, lock the bottom of the door with a leg,
grasp the top of the window frame and give it a quick racking. The
A1 doors are quite pliable, which makes for half of the problems.
Don't lean on them when they're open!
