[Vwdiesel] early oil change 09 Jetta

I've broken in many an engine, and have a good track record with them.
Keep in mind that often the initial oil installed is formulated for
break-in. Also, when breaking in an engine, there are phases that should
be accomplished. Driving the car for the first 10K like a timid light footed
driver may not be the best thing for your long term oil consumption and
wear.

I agree with the poster who suggested a filter change for piece of
mind. But without further discussion, I would keep the breakin oil in
there.

In aircraft recip engines, we do use a different oil, and failure to
use the proper oil, and procedure has been demonstrated to have a very
quantifiable impact on the life of the engine.

This topic has been discussed extensively, particularily on the this list.
