After I finally got in there with a light and looked, it was pretty
obvious how things had to push back in and tighten up the slop.
Then you just have to hold it in place so it can't slide back out.

I used to lay in sideways on the floor and twist and such. One
time I was working on some wiring or such and just laid on my
back on the seat, hung my feet up over the back and wow, I
was able to just lay there and finish with no cramps, kinks,
etc. :-)
