http://www.dieselvw.com/ has conversion kits to add a turbo to the 1.6L engine based on TDI parts.  Cost is $450 for the turbo, manifolds, and exhaust short pipe.  I wonder how hard or easy it would be to attach all this and get it up and running, and what kind of power it would make.  I'd love to get a turbo for my Rabbit just to help with this altitude in CO.
