[Vwdiesel] Overheating

Just an educated guess - wouldn't the other belt be to the alternator?

Though I've never had one with PS, so I'm not really sure.

But lock washers would need you to have the second nut, anyway, so that
would kind of defeat the purpose. Or else you would have to turn the bolt in
until the head bottomed out on the lock washers, which would defeat the
purpose of it being an adjustment screw! :) So just having the second nut to
cinch up against the part of the bracket that the bolt threads into would be
the best choice, in my opinion.
