[Vwdiesel] Idle overheating

Depending on the engine. My 1.9 really heats up at idle but once you drive it the thing really cools back down. I think my truck is the same way (been in storage a couple months, can't remember). My 04 Golf will cool down at idle but the newest engines really seem to be so effecient that happens. I want to say even my brothers truck heats up at idle. I wouldn't be to worried about much on that.
