Yes, you can simpley jump across the two wires that are part of the harness.
Look under the hood, follow from the glow plugs, and you will see where they
have a plug with two wires. I jumper them together in this area. Basically,
the relay/ECU looks for a difference between two and two of the glow plugs,
so it knows when one is going bad.
That's what we used to do on customer cars that had this issue and didn't
want to spend the $$ on the harness, glow plugs, or relay. BTW, it may also
be the relay, and I did have one that jumpering wouldn't fix. I had to
utimately replace the relay.
ABS could be a multitude of things. REally, the only way to know is to pull
codes and see what's going on. In a lot of cases, it's simply a matter of
pulling the sensors and cleaning the ring teeth on the driveshafts.
