[Vwdiesel] fast blinking turn signal-typical causes?

that has been my experience also and caused me to wonder what my cause a diminished 

resistance in the circuit.

 

I was wondering if, somewhere in the harness the circuit may have worn through and  begun touching another circuit.

 

Add to the condition that there is a flickering of function when the leads out of the fuse panel

are moved a little.

 

I will continue to probe the fuse panel connection for more answers, using only geneva convention

approved tactics.

I have only seen that when one of the bulbs is out in the turn signal circuit???

I am having continuing issues with the left turn signal, brake and running lights on my 91 jetta.

currently the the signal is is blinking fast and if the front bulb is removed, the rear will not work

at all. It's function will stop completely if the harness is move some at the fuse box.

The right signal and emergency lights are functioning normally.

I am wondering what voltage i should see at the bulb socket and what might cause a diminished

resistance in the harness to create a fast blink situation.
