Bled the IP, still won't start. Not a pop. I sucked the fuel thru from the outlet side of the IP, the line that returns extra fuel to the tank. Tried using starter fluid. Still won't start but it did slow almost to a stop, as if the engine fired prematurely. The only thing I can think of is that I have it timed 180 degrees off as I previously noticed that the TDC mark on the flywheel shows up for every half rotation of the engine. Is it possible that the IP, when rebuilt, was 180 degrees off? Any other suggestions?
