[Vwdiesel] Parting '96 TDI Passat

Yeah, of course the most important thing is that everyone was okay, and the safety features worked as intended.  

The cool thing is, upon hearing of the accident, a couple from the church he had been attending decided to just give him their '01 Jetta that had been sitting around as an extra car!  (Dad had been working in South Carolina because that is where the job was, though my parents live in Topeka, KS, so he and Mom were going back and forth to visit.  However, the contract was ended a couple weeks ago leaving him without a job so he was moving everything back.)

And, like I said, I am a bit excited about the engine and sticking it in my Bus!  ;)
