  Sandy's I-V drip might help, which you basically tried but keep it 
level with the pump or use a supply can that's above the pump 
and a return can that's below then keep transferring fuel back to 
the supply can and let it run and wind that sucker up.  You can 
hold them at full throttle if need be, no load, after it's warmed up.
