I have a rather new kero heater that I am at my whits end with.
It had been smoking, stinking.
Trimmed the original wick 2 times, helped but still stank
Replaced the wick with a correct new wick.
I am guessing I put it to high on the holder?

It is very smokey when starting, and get to high to quick and smokes like crazy.
I did follow the markings, I thing, when installing the wick on the holder.

I have the unit apart one more time, it is pretty simple, so I know I can get this thing to work good again like it did years ago.

Any other suggestions other then lowering the wick on the holder?

thanks, this is my only current heat source in my garage.
