[Vwdiesel] Muffler or Streight pipe

Dad's Passat had the muffler removed a few years ago. It too passed the "wife test" as my mom didn't notice a difference in sound until she was told. When that engine finally goes in the bus, it will likely have a very short pipe off the turbo and nothing else.
