I'm given to understand that the no-cold-start after glow plug recall
for BEW engines is VW's, um, screw-up. Being polite, since they seem to
have royally screwed those engines up.
But that just means that the Dealership isn't necessarily to blame, just
as the chain drive failures aren't completely able to be blamed on
dealership incompetence. If your gear-drive fails after the dealership
installs it, yeah, sure, that's probably their fault. But when the
incompetence comes from above...
