[Vwdiesel] Age, Diesel History, and Bonus TDI Tragedy

Ever since I had the reflash done on the ECU and the glow plugs
changed, the cruise has been really weird. Usually, if operated
without the AC on, it will operate correctly 95% of the time.
However, if I run the AC, the cruise will not hold speed, will speed
up and slow down and surge. I have watched it lose 15 mph on a flat
surface and then try to catch up and end up 15 mph faster than the
chosen speed. From my discussions with those that would reply on the
TDI club, this is not an unusual side afffect. My car is an 04 Jetta
and most of the people who contacted me with the same problem had an
04 or 05 BEW. No one with the 2.0 Passat PD TDI seem to have gotten
the same problem. Hayden
