[Vwdiesel] JD 140 - I have engine numbers now

It definitely has type 3 style manifolds and cooling and such, but it could also be an engine built from a universal replacement case. Those can be set up as either type 3 or type 1 depending on which parts you bolt on. The other, odd numbers make me think this. I'd think just about every part on the engine is available in the aftermarket except possibly the fan shrouding.
