[Vwdiesel] Has anyone heard any more about this 60mpg new TDI motor that

  That's probably even pushing it from what little I've heard.  Has 
anybody else noticed, the "greener" the diesels get, the worse the 
real world mpg ends up?  My '80 Rabbit makes 40mpg driving it hard.  
The '85 Jetta makes 40mpg driving hard or easy.  The Passat makes 
about 45mpg and Dad's makes 48 driving hard.  Hayden's made mostly 
in the upper 30's as I recall.  Big pickups went from making in the 
low 20's to the lower-mid teens it seems.  Glad we're saving fuel by 
making them greener!  ;-P
