  Usually rod bearings are the first to go.  No oil and they'll go in short 
order due to the loading and speed (= heat).  I'd pull the pan and check 
rod bearings.  You may have a galled piston but those usually happen 
from overheating before low oil.  You might get lucky and just need 
bearings, a little worse would need rings.  More and you're doing a 
rebild.  Had one come into the dealer similarly.  Holed pan.  Just 
needed bearings and it was happy!  (This was a 1.? Rabbit engine 
but basically the same thing.
