Ive driven quite a few, from the 2.0T's to the older ('o5-06, I believe)
TDI's, to the VR6 3.2 in the TT. I loved every one of them. Definately
quicker shifts than in anything else, and very smooth as well. Having said
that, a customer of ours had one die at 36K, IIRC. No, most people won't
even think of touching the insides of one. Hell, the fluid is at least
$15/liter, that's enough to scare a lot of people. But, it's by far the best
automatic I've driven to date. And, that includes plenty of other cars,
includeng the CVT's from Subie and Audi.

I, personally, prefer a true manual to ANY automatic, clutch or not. In
fact, only my trucks and the V8Q (Leftover from the wife) are my automatics.
I have about six other cars, all manuals, and they are what I drive.
