[Vwdiesel] 80 & 81 rabbits and old golf parts cars

Long story short someone told my brother that there was a guy with some tractor parts that he was getting rid of (we are in to John Deeres and have about 45 of the older ones 1924-1964 along with the JD bikes, pedal tractors, and lawn and garden tractors). He showwed up and saw these rabbits and golfs there. One of the 81 rabbits didn't have an engine, the other 81 had basically a short block left in it with a five speed (we are keeping that tranny). the 80's have most of the engine parts and I think one may be runable with some work but is in a car where the front was hit (ran a couple years before it got hit in the front). The short block engine does have an injection pump that we did not take off but if someone wants a core that may work (it won't turn for me). I don't know much on the golfs as I only own an 04 and not the 80's ones but they are the 1.6 NA and two could run. I didn't even look at them as I didn't need the parts and I was to busy taking the parts off the rabbits to care about the golfs. 

 

I did forward the message to my brother on the interior parts. The guy has a vw truck as well with about 30K original miles but still needs it to move some things. I may be buying that this year as mine needs body work and I like a good looking vehicles (so I may sell mine). He has other engine parts but doesn't want to sell the heads since it has aluminum in them and he wants to sell them for scrap (needless to say he didn't know what he had). But on the flip side one car had green plants growing in it (rabbit), the other rabbit had vines in it (rabbit). Another was front end crash and was rusty (rabbit), and the other rabbit rolled twice. I also have a good set of tail lights for an 80 rabbit if someone wants that I was able to take off. I am keeping the 81 lights.
