Bill,
Did you not try and adjust pump timing with the engine running, as I
suggested before?
Its only a matter of 3 bolts, anda 13mm spanner and a 14/15mm spanner!
At no cost!!!
After all, even after splashing out more money, you still have to install
the pump correctly again....
Won't over stress the engine. Only real difference is some n/a blocks don't
have the oil jets piston cooling of turbo blocks. Turbo and non turbo pumps
have same maximum power output. Turbo spaceship allows controlled release of
power. A soft adult foot on an acellerator pedal could give the same results
from an n/a pump!

Does anyone still have a source for rear axle bushes [recent glances make me
think they are suddenly out of general availability]...
