Could easily be the Clutch Cable. I'm surprised sometimes how much of a
difference a new Cable makes.........Rudy

Subject: [Vwdiesel] clutch hard to operate
Hi,
I have been working on getting an old Rabbit running. I switched engines
on the Rabbit and I have everything hooked up and the clutch is really hard
to push in. Everything worked fine prior to this work, the clutch, ths
shifters and everything. It has been years though since either the engine or
the transaxle has actually been used. Do you guys think it's the clutch and
the transaxle needs to come off or could it be something easy like the throw
out bearing sticking due to lack of lubrication because of the transaxle not
being used for years.
Thanks
Dave
