  That's a shame.  Odds are that not ALL those business were shady. 
It's a couple shady ones that ruin the reputation for the whole group. 
I'd cringe every time the news would run a sting on shoddy or shady 
mechanics.  I could tell by the public's attitude, for several months 
after each time, that they no longer trusted ANY mechanic.  There 
are bad ones, many will fanagle their way out of mistakes but honestly 
I've never heard of any actual, shysters anywhere around here.
