[Vwdiesel] What to look for to find a hydraulic lifter tap

Probably a little late, but the noisy ones have too much room between cam
and follower (lash). Run the motor, shut it off, remove valve cover, use a
feeler gauge. The noisy one will have significantly more lash. It's always
worked for me... BUT, for the cost, 8 cam followers are cheap, and if one
is shot, it probably has friends standing in line right behind it.
