The heatshields have no effect on startup etc...
No need to keep changing those injector washers. Reuse several times first.
However, to stop leakages up the injector threads, 'reset' washer using a
small ballbearing and a set of Mole Grips and a 3/4" nut [M12] That way you
can reset consistantly to the same pre use shield size.

Get new one's for when you think you've got a working engine, and replace
only if leaking occurs at injector base.
