Tad,

I have the searchable cdrom version of the manual which let me choose model
and engine.
and current UPDATES over the internet.

I currently own 3 jettas all running, all factory setups.
'90 Jetta 1.6L NA - IP charge pump is in 'rotary' pump, sucks all the way
from the tank.
'01 Jetta 1.9L TDI - (ALH engine) IP charge pump is in 'rotary' pump AND an
electric in the tank.
'04 Jetta 1.9L TDI PD (BEW)- tank electric pump and a high pressure 'tandem'
pump (7.5 bar, ~110 PSI) on back of the camshaft.

So you think I just 'made up' that previous post stating it was for a TDI
or maybe didn't see the heading ???

*1.9 Liter 4-Cyl. 2V TDI Engine Mechanical, Engine Code(s): ALH*
